Teaching methods
In line with the changing trends in demand. Modern methods, utilising audio visuals is adopted. Computer classes have been started Hindi classes have been conducted for Hindi Ceritificate Courses. Building

Medium of Instruction is English in all standards. Tamil is the second language. Hindi is taught for certificate courses (Hindi Prachar Saba) Malayalam taught as third language.Subject to Changes Uniform
For Girls : Uniform Every three years will be changed according to the school rules and regulations.
Physical Education
A fine play ground is ear marked for the physical education. Guides, Scouts and NCC Classes are being conducted.
Music and Dance
Classes are conducted without any fees for the course, Karate Yoga, and Gymnastic

Due importance will be given to music and dance, and the hidden talents of children will be explored, and exhibited through cultural programmes. Personality development is the main aim of the school.
Other Activities
Adult education classes will be conducted in the evening after the school hours for the villagers. When the financial position permits, vocational classes on typing, tailoring, dyeing, and embroidery will be conducted for the benefit of the villagers.

Admission is given to all the children who seek for it, first preference is given to the

- Children of the transport bus employees
- Children of the employees of the factories in and around Thorapakkam.
- Children of the Defence Personnel.
